6 secrets from Baldur’s Gate 3 that you may not have discovered and for which it is worth playing it again

BOOAL’s blessing

You meet him in the first act and you have to basically find a false god who is located in the festering cove in an unmarked location near Aunt Ethel’s secret path to the underdark.

It is an area full of mushrooms, along with a climbable wall that goes down to the cove. There you will find a cult of fish people who worship a bloody gnome who claims to be BOOAL.

But of course he is a false god, but you can worship him to get BOOAL’s sickle.

Thanks to this item you can use it to sacrifice some of your party members, and if you do it right you will get a permanent buff that gives you the advantage against bleeding enemies.

Don’t leave anyone behind

Specifically in act 1 you will encounter a traveling caravan of tiefling refugees.

And you will have to save everyone from each of the dangers that are going to affect them, basically everyone as possible.

The idea is that we obtain the achievement called “leave no one behind”, which is a legendary achievement. You must save frequently to carry out this little mission.

In act 1 they must not be killed in the grove itself; In act 2 many could die instantly if you advance too far in the story and do not rescue a gang of them in the Moon Towers. And then in act 3, having saved everyone or almost everyone, you will have special exclusive scenes with different NPCs.

Summoning secret friends

We can summon a lot of elements or creatures that can help us in battle. For example, we can find a dog that can search for treasures and you unlock it naturally in the games.

You also have the relevant ogres in the desolate village in Act 1 that you can summon in open combat.

You can also count an alchemist’s scroll in the ruined town, to summon Quasit.

Helping the strange ox

If you have the spell of speaking with animals, you can use it to decipher many secrets. One of the strangest animals you can use this spell on is an ox traveling with the tiefling refugees.

What you have to do is help the refugees get to Rivington, and with this the ox will survive and you can talk to him to give you a secret mission.

Secret elements to maximize parameters

There are many secret elements and you have surely left these three behind.

  • One of them is the strength of the hill giants which grants 19 strength to the wearer and can be found by breaking a strange stool at the top of the Arkana Tower.
  • Then you find the diadem of intellect in the ruined town in act 1, and it is being used by Lump, the ogre. You can convince him to join you, and then eliminate him to keep him.
  • Finally, you find the Gloves of Dexterity in Act 1, and they are exactly in the Githyanki Creche below Rosymorn Abbey and you can buy them from the merchant Jeera.

Hidden security mechanisms

This is a title in which we are allowed to eliminate any character, even NPCs and merchants, and if you do so you will think that you will not be able to continue advancing.

However, the development team has included a series of hidden security mechanisms that allow you to continue progressing, even though, for example, you have eliminated all the merchants from the adventure.

For example, if you kill all the merchants in the game, don’t worry, a new one you’ve never seen before will appear and help you buy and gather allies.

There are also a number of tieflings that will spawn again and again in the Emerald Grove, so you don’t get stuck.

There are plenty of security mechanisms you can try to find, and we encourage you to do so.

So with this, you have more than enough reason to do a second playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3.

Are you playing Baldur’s Gate 3? If so, you are surely interested in knowing how to get these Twitch Drops rewards, the news about the arrival of Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2 to Game Pass, or the possibility of a new installment of Divinity from Larian.
